OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY
Weekend Works Group Inc. is more than just a design collective; it's a manifestation of creativity that thrives on the weekends. Founded in 2015 by Jaekyu Jung, Estab Han, and Hyunsoo Choi, our roots extend from San Francisco to Houston, where we pour our passion into industrial design across various categories, including consumer electronics and home goods. Our philosophy revolves around the idea that the most innovative work emerges when we step outside the traditional 9-to-5 routine, allowing our creativity to flourish without constraints. We pride ourselves on crafting products that not only serve a purpose but also tell a story, merging functionality with aesthetic appeal. Each item in our portfolio reflects our commitment to geometric precision, material honesty, and a timeless design language that resonates with discerning users. Join us on this journey of thoughtful design, where every weekend brings new possibilities.

Our technical foundation was built in the high-pressure environment of South Korean mobile manufacturing. As former lead designers at Pantech, Jaekyu Jung, Estab Han, and Hyunsoo Choi managed the transition from analog utility to high-fidelity digital interfaces, mastering the "Zero-Gap" manufacturing standards required for flagship hardware. This background in precision engineering informs every object in the Weekend Works collection.
We reject the "disposability" of modern consumer tech. Our practice prioritizes structural integrity—utilizing 316L stainless steel, solid marble foundations, and aerospace-grade aluminum. By applying the rigorous logic of mobile phone engineering to home goods and analog instruments, we ensure that every product functions as a permanent architectural fixture. We do not design for the trend cycle; we design for the material reality of the object.
